Set Permissions for Club Officials

After officials have been linked to the component, they have to be given permissions to perform certain task.

These permissions inlcude the following.

  1. Manage EOI : This official has access to the eoi manager and can register players who have registered
  2. Manage Registered Users : The official can use the clubreg manager functions to add new players, add notes to each player, add assets, add payment details  and the other functions available.
  3. Manage Communications : The official can send mass emails to members of his groups.
  4. Delete Registered Member  : The offical can delete a registered member
  5. Manage Stats : The official can edit stats

The dashboard setting of each official can also be updated

  1. Show Unapproved EOIs : Show any EOI that have not been registered
  2. Show Birthdays : Show any upcomming birthdays

The site administrator needs to determine what permission and setting are required. To update or set the permissions and setting,

Steps

  1. Log into the admin section.
  2. Select the Clubreg component from the components menu.
  3. Select the club officials menu option.

  4. Select the official you wish to update, In the edit window, select all the permission you wish to give to the official , also update the dashboard settings as well. Save and close the page or add the official to groups
